Digital Interactive Handbook
I was responsible for the full cycle of the project, from UX/UI design and interactive prototyping to the development of the website using Drupal. I created wireframes and designed a responsive, accessible layout aligned with the FSC style guide. An interactive high-fidelity prototype was developed to validate the user experience and the complex navigation between chapters, sections, and annexes. The Drupal site was customized with a modular structure to efficiently manage chapters, sections, diagrams, and graphs. Additionally, I implemented advanced features such as a “backpack” section for users to save favorite chapters or sections, along with a powerful full-text search system optimized for complex document navigation.
The previous handbook was primarily a printed resource that was difficult to access and did not leverage the advantages of digital technology. There was a clear need for a dynamic and user-friendly online platform capable of managing a large volume of content while facilitating quick access to the most relevant information.
I developed a custom Drupal-based website tailored to accommodate the complexity of the handbook. The modular content system allowed easy organization of chapters, annexes, and multimedia content. The interface was designed to offer clear and fluid navigation, incorporating features such as personalized content saving through the “backpack” and an internal search engine that enables users to quickly locate specific information within the handbook.
