Activities

Under the creative direction of Renato Fontana and with graphic design by Studio Cappelli, I was responsible for the complete development of the website. My task was to faithfully translate their dynamic layout into a fast, responsive, and animated digital platform. I developed a fully custom WordPress theme, integrating GSAP-based animations and scroll effects to enhance the navigation experience. I collaborated closely with the design team to ensure fidelity to the original compositions, and to build a solid, user-friendly backend to manage the large gallery of over 750 artworks submitted through the platform.

01 / Problem

Problem

Italianism needed a digital platform that could showcase both its cultural mission and the massive visual output of the artists involved. The site had to remain flexible for content, but visually distinctive to reflect the creative DNA of the brand.

02 / Response

Response

I built a modular WordPress site that respected the original layout while introducing subtle animations and interactions. The project gallery was optimized to host and navigate hundreds of submissions, preserving both performance and visual clarity. The site also served as a digital archive and public voting space, helping the initiative extend beyond physical events.
